Pat is a certified pizza chef from the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, and is a wine and craft brew enthusiast. As a designer and builder, Pat worked tirelessly to bring his vision to reality, personally building-out Creekside into a world-class venue with rich and bold accents of copper, wood, stone, handcrafted live-edge tables and Creekside's iconic state of the art 40-tap long-draw craft beer draft system.

Owner/Partner, , Marin native and San Anselmo resident PAT TOWNSLEY began as bar-back and cook at “39 Main” in Tiburon in 1977, led San Rafael’s New George’s Nightclub & Cafe from 1989 to 1996, and has since directed beverage, restaurant and live entertainment operations for companies and venues throughout the Bay Area prior to creating the Creekside concept and experience. 

Today, Creekside is San Anselmo's downtown destination, a community hub and a welcome blend of local hospitality, award winning craft pizzas, Marin's best selection of craft beers on tap, outstanding wines and Townsley's ridiculous commitment to serve the community by being open every day starting at 11 AM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Owner/Partner CHEF JANET ABRAHAMSON, a lifelong Marin resident,  chef and hospitality veteran. Prior to partnering with Townsley, Janet led full-service, specialty menus and take-out programs along with kitchen and deli operations for over 20 years.

Janet is a certified pizza chef and graduate of the International School of Pizza, training directly under 13-time world champion & Forebes 2016 #1 American pizza chef Tony Gemignani.

Now unleashed at Creekside, Janet puts passion into every plate and pizza with her well-balanced menu design. There is no compromise when it comes to freshness, flavor profiles and presentation. Utilizing local, organic, sustainable products and vendors, everything on the Creekside menu is hand-crafted for that "wow factor" presentation and enjoyment.
