Today, October 13th 2021, Creekside celebrates our FOURTH YEAR Anniversary. You’re invited to join us any time today for our ALL DAY 4th Year Anniversary, with $4 Craft Beers and $4 Wines by the glass and $4 off all pizzas from 11am to 8pm for our Dine IN and Walk-up Guests (sorry, not for online or phone orders)…come in and join us, and shop our local merchants On The Avenue while you’re downtown.

Founded in 2016 under the half-baked working title “Flood Zone Pizza,” Creekside Pizza & Taproom didn’t actually open until October 13, 2017 with our official Grand Opening and Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting. This was a Friday the 13th, which seemed appropriate to the massive delays and obstacles and costs and fees and more delays in opening a restaurant in Marin, so after walking under ladders, breaking mirrors and black cats walking in our path, we launched Friday the 13th; What else could possibly go wrong? We had done a few “test kitchen” nights prior, and like the chaotic fire drill scene in the movie Crimson Tide, did also did a test day on Country Fair Day with thousands of people downtown, with similar results (like a botched Bar Rescue style stress-test).

So, here we are, 4 years later; still open, stronger than ever, and forever grateful to our community, fans, families and employees. We couldn’t have done it without grit, tenacity, vision, connections, advice, support, and our fantastic FOC: Friends of Creekside, those who believed in our seemingly impossible mission to literally Crowd Fund a restaurant. Some gave a little, some gave all… almost all. To those who took a leap of faith and joined any one of our absurd crowdfunding campaigns, we heartily salute you! The list of gratitude goes on and on, and so do we. Thank You for Encouraging Our Behavior.
