“Hey, you know a guy around here with a piss yellow deuce coupe?” – Harrison Ford as Bob Falfa.

Being film and car enthusiasts, Creekside Pizza & Taproom, in collaboration with San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce and the Town of San Anselmo’s LIVE ON THE AVENUE announce the 50th Anniversary of American Graffiti (it opened in theaters on August 11, 1973), We’re in the driver’s seat to help the Chamber and The Town show the film in Creek Park, plus bring down Marin County’s coolest and best local period-piece American show-cars from the American Graffiti fandom era on August 11, 2023.

We’re looking for YOUR SUPPORT AND REFERRALS: If you know anyone with a 50’s era Mel’s Drive-in vintage or hot rod, we’d love to have them in our “Shine and Show” on the avenue. Also, if you have any era specific memorabilia, we’d love to put that on display. Also, it’s 50’s Car-Hop dress up night, so break out the Grease, roll up your sleeves and bring out your best poodle-skirts as we celebrate George Lucas’ iconic hot-rod trip down memory lane, AMERICAN GRAFFITI.

If you would like to participate in the planning and/or have access or connections to American Graffiti-era cars, please email CreeksidePizzaSA@gmail.com

Thanks George!
