Feeding those in need, Creekside Pizza & Taproom, along with our sister restaurant, Stonework Pizza & Tap in Petaluma, join forces with hundreds of independent pizzerias across the US to support Slice Out Hunger’s “Pizza Across America.” This annual campaign is has become the nation’s Largest Pizza Delivery day, shuttling pizzas to local non-profit food banks, homeless shelters, and hunger centers…across America. This year, the event is on February 9th, 2024.
Creekside is again partnering with our local distribution heroes, ExtraFood.org, where we donate to their program monthly, but push out an extra 20 pizzas for Pizza Across America day on February 9th. Stonework, still in our first year of operation, is participating for the second year, donating pizzas to local shelter “COTS” in Petaluma.
We stand strong for our communities, and we cheer-on the volunteers at Slice Out Hunger for their passion and commitment to supporting those in need. We look forward to celebrating the program’s success with the Slice Out Hunger team, along with founder Scott Weiner of the now world-famous Scott’s Pizza Tours, in Las Vegas in March at the 40th annual International Pizza Expo (yeah, there’s a trade show for everything!).
