Rain or Shine: It’s Creekside’s second annual Pumpkins in the Park this Saturday from 12 noon until we give away 150 full size pumpkins to kids for on-site coloring, painting and decorating. If weather holds, we’ll have 5 tables set up in our Town-Designated area of “Creekside Commons” for parents and kids to do side-by-side pumpkin decorating. Come to Creekside any time after 12 noon this Saturday and select from over 150 large pumpkins currently overflowing throughout the restaurant. Creekside staff and local artists will be on hand to help with the creative process. Each child will receive a custom award/recognition award upon completion, and (with parental permission), each pumpkin will be photographed and posted for public judging for the top pumpkin creations. Several gift cards will be issued to winners, a special Creekside email to our over 8,000 email subscribers, and winning pumpkins will be displayed on our Jumbo-Creek-a-Tron daily slideshow. Prizes include $50 gift cards and top dog gets a Creekside “Pizza For A Year” card (one pizza every month for a year).

If it’s raining, we’ll have production stations set up inside of Creekside this Saturday. When we run out of pumpkins, we run out of pumpkins. We have over 150 of them, and they’re about basketball size. Bring friends and neighbors. If it’s slow going, then we’ll continue all day and into the night until we are out of pumpkins. Finished pumpkins may be left on display at Creekside for the community to enjoy and picked up next weekend at the Goblin Spooktacular.

We’ll see you and your little Boo this Saturday, October 23rd, brought to you by your certifiably spooky friends at Freakside Pumpkins and Taproom. Share your pumpkin creations on Social Media! Tag us: CreeksideSA
