Live on the Avenue

Everyone Is Welcome to Northern California’s #1 free annual outdoor music festival: LIVE ON THE AVENUE, brought to you by The Town of San Anselmo, San Anselmo Rec, San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce and funded by the generous contributions from the community and local businesses including Cucina s|a, Souvenir Bottle Shop, The Baan Thai Cuisine, Tam Realty, Town Books, Ludwigs Fine Wines, Kientz Hall, and major sponsors ERIC GELMAN (Coldwell Banker) Real Estate Group, Frank Gomez’s WINK OPTICS and your friendly neighborhood Creekside Pizza & Taproom plus production sponsors Jay Siegan Presents. Thank you for shopping and dining locally when visiting San Anselmo, The Heart of Marin.

NOW, EVERY Friday and Saturday night through October 30th, San Anselmo Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic to create a safe downtown pedestrian stroll and family-friendly destination from 5:30 PM to 10PM. Music: 6-9PM with (usually) Two bands nightly performing Free Live Music at the Creek Park Stage (behind Creekside) and at the Town Hall Plaza (across from Cucina). Folk, Rocks, Dance, Covers, Blues, Jazz, Originals…each night hosting different bands. One exception is the annual fundraiser BEATLES IN THE PARK (Tickets and info coming soon, but mark the date as it always sells out).

OK, back to the basics: Carpooling, Rideshare and Public Transit highly recommended as the town parking lots and side-streets get filled up quickly. Restaurants also fill up and are at capacity early on music nights, so plan ahead, picnics are welcome, self-provided water bottles and foodwares recommended in our green-forward recycle and reduce mindset community. SAN ANSELMO EATS website is also getting a refresh to help visitors locate nearby restaurant alternatives when lines and wait-times become long on the avenue: SanAnselmoEats.com

It’s going to be another amazing summer in San Anselmo; It’s The Place To Be!

We are still looking for a few more professional, headlining, and local bands to fill some slots. Interested parties can fill out this form: CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT
