Townsley & Taffer

Prost! Oktober is bier month. It’s also National Pizza Month. We have Pizza and Beer: Nailed it. We also have wine, California-only wine, and it’s harvest time too. All in all, October is not a great month to ‘go dry’ or be on a diet. With over 25 awesome breweries on tap every day with over 30 craft beers on tap, plus kombucha and cider, we say that Every Day is Oktoberfest at Creekside Taproom. Noting that, we are not an island, but more of the Rising Tide mentality, celebrating and evangelizing the craft, be it pizza, wine or beer. You’ll find Team Creekside off-hours frequenting Pond Farm, The Junction, Tam Commons, Still Water, HenHouse. In 2024, you’ll find us in Denver at the Great American Beer Festival and The International Pizza Expo with Tony Gemignani, Laura Meyer, Chris Bianco, and Scott Weiner, as well back with Jon Taffer in Vegas at the 2024 Restaurant & Bar Expo. Creekside working with the best to bring YOU the best.

You can follow all of our rotating, resident, special releases and seasonal tap offering on our Taproom page, or get alerts and updates from our beer mobile app partner, Untapp’d. CLICK HERE to visit Creekside on Untapp’d

BIKES & BREWS: Locally, Fairfax’s beloved Biketoberfest returns on Saturday, October 14th in downtown Fairfax; more specifically at the Marin Museum of Bicycling, with undoubted spill-over to Split Rock next door, HenHouse’s West County Pub, and Gestalt Haus.  They’ll have 18 breweries on site, bike parking, food, and several bands, including our local rockin’ Marin friends in “Hall Pass.” Tickets are on sale now, presented by the Marin Bike Coalition and Split Rock. It’s a good time! To learn more about Biketoberfest: CLICK HERE

NERDS & BEERS: This is going to be fun (as long as they have a Joust cabinet)… coming early 2024 to 4th Street in San Rafael… a mini “Dave & Busters” type video arcade and taproom, appropriately called Pixels Arcade & Taproom. Again, a name that nails the concept. unlike BJ’s, which we found out is actually a restaurant, and subsequently closed in Northgate. I digress. Anyway, get your quarters, haptic gear and OASIS visor ready to go back in time and into the multiverse. Some of us remember Pinky’s Pizza in Montecito and Starbase #1 on Fourth. This will be a next-generation venue with craft beer, small bites, stand-alones, vintage classics (you’d better have Joust), multiplayer, and maybe even MMOs in their “home gaming lounge.” The site looks cool. We saving up our spare change for Pixels’ Grand Opening on January 13th, 2024. To learn more about Pixels: CLICK HERE
