THIS FRIDAY OCTOBER 25th, get the goblins, witches, wizards, princesses, favorite characters (and yourself) ready for the annual Town of San Anselmo “BOOtacular” (formerly known as Spooktacular). San Anselmo Avenue gets closed to vehicles at 4PM, and the goblins are in full swing by 5PM. Every creative costume is welcome, and the parents usually use this venue as one of San Anselmo’s most popular street parties.
Many of the local merchants will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters starting at 5PM and it kind of takes on a life of it’s own until about 8pm. Safe trick-or-treating from San Anselmo’s Fire Station #19 to Creekside, to any local merchant with a welcoming or spooky doorway. Characters Welcome! Dress up and have a great time. Family theme costumes are always fun, to ghosts and ghostbusters, care bears, pop stars, animals, movie theme characters, et al. Go Wild!
Creekside Happy Hour at 4PM with $5 OFF your dine-in or parklet dining pizzas, plus our taproom beer and wine deal. Come to Creekside early to feed the kids; every restaurant gets Packed fast, and the kids need to balance out that sugar rush, and you need a pint of courage or a glass of mommy’s little helper. Yes, beverages to go! Also, remember Creekside TO GO on Halloween night for easy family feeding on the 31st. Speaking of the 31st, there is a Halloween Party at Marinitas that night, so if you’re looking for a good time out, consider that party on October 31st.
These Town events (Live on the Avenue, BOOtacular, Tree Lighting, Egg Hunt) are what add a dash of magic to our town, setting apart from anywhere else. San Anselmo, it’s the place to be.
