IT’S A GREAT NIGHT OUT! Chief Norton has asked Creekside to again endorse and support National Night Out (NNO), and we’re ON IT: Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, starting at 5PM: Your First Responders of the Central Marin Police Authority are hosting another annual evening of fun and conversation with members of our communities. This will CMPA’s first NNO event since 2019, a precautionary sabbatical due to public health concerns around the pandemic. Please join CMPA officers and outreach volunteers as they host locations here in San Anselmo and Corte Madera.
Now in its 40th year, NNO is an annual community building campaign that promotes public safety/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. NNO events are held across the country and encourage residents to come out and spend the evening getting to know their neighbors, police officers, fire fighters, and other community organizations.
The Central Marin Police welcome you starting at 5PM at two locations:
- San Anselmo’s Town Hall (525 San Anselmo Avenue)
- Corte Madera’s Menke Park (Redwood Avenue at Corte Madera Avenue)
Both locations will run from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. and provide an opportunity to meet and chat with not only Central Marin Police Officers, but also our public safety partners from CHP, and the Central Marin Fire Department, and the Ross Valley Fire Department, and our local Neighborhood Response Groups (NRG). There will be the opportunity to see police and fire vehicles up close, and free hot dogs for all.
Come out and join your neighbors, community members and your area First Responders. Selfies, photo ops, and free hot dogs. 10-4 Good Buddy; see you at the San Anselmo Town Hall Plaza on August 1st, another great summertime family activity. All are welcome to this free community meet up.
