GREAT BEER ON TAP at Marin’s longest running Craft Beer focused pub, THE PINT SIZE LOUNGE on 4th Street in San Rafael, got some great press today. A Trifecta of old friends in this solid article; Marin IJ entertainment writer and longtime friend PAUL LIBERATORE goes back to our earliest days in the ’80’s at New George’s, as does PSL owner ADAM VIOLANTE who opened PSL about the same time we bailed from George’s in ’96, The Marin IJ cover photo (left) features local guitar friend DANNY UZILEVSKY who also goes back to the good ‘old days of New George’s in the 90’s with band Lee Press-on and the Nails plus his own hard kickin’ rockabilly groups. Congratulations to Adam for surviving in the face of adversity and keeping West End San Rafael rockin’. Live music and downtown San Rafael closure of 4th Street has been going on every Thursday night for the past two years. Live music at the PSL includes our friend bands Susan Z, Jerry Hannan, Josh Zee and Danny Uzi. Great food on 4th at Sabor a Mexico (try their tortilla soup and chicken mole; off the hook), Mayflower Inn, Whippersnapper, The Kitchen Table (reservations recommended), and add THE PINT SIZE LOUNGE to your list of CRAFT BEER DESTINATIONS in your weekly rotation for fun. In addition to Craft On Tap, they have an amazing bottle beer selection…and pool tables, PSL: Open every day until 2AM! Follow them (and Creekside) on Untapp’d Mobile App.
