HAPPENING TODAY: September 24th, 2022

Good times tonight LIVE ON THE AVENUE as The Town of San Anselmo presents the live action Star Wars 501th Legion’s Golden Gate Garrison, an entire squadron of Storm Troopers, Rebels, Heroes and Antiheroes at 6PM. The Garrison will be taking picture and maintaining order on San Anselmo Avenue and Creek Park. Get a selfie with Lord Vader. This is the way, and may the Force be with you.

Creekside opens at 11AM every day, including today, because today would fall within the range of EVERY day. Happy Hour today at 4PM. Full Service indoor dining plus Takeout dining into Creek Park, where you can witness the annual migration of picnic tables as they swim upstream to lay their eggs under in Creek Park and in the Redwood Grove behind Creekside.

Headlining on the CREEK PARK STAGE tonight is the fantastic SUSAN Z & THE LILITH AFFAIR from 6PM to 9PM. A great feel-good sing-along band featuring the best female-lead rock bands of the 90’s. This will be Lilith Affair’s final show of 2022, so come out for dining and dancing in the park. Live music sponsored by Eric Gelman or Coldwell Banker San Anselmo, and tonight.. a little extra help from Creekside Pizza & Taproom. Feeling jazzy or bluesy? Also Tonight at Town Hall Plaza, THE DORIAN MODE band performs in front of Cucina from 6PM.

SUNDAY…Creektoberfest begins, our annual nod to the German/Bavarian celebration of Bier. We’ll be rotating different beers from different breweries for the next 30 days. Tomorrow is the first time Creekside will ever put on anything other an a domestic craft beer, so mark your calendars as Creekside taps our first barrel of Spaten. Pints, Fights and Happy Hour are all fair game during CREEKTOBERFEST 2022. CLICK HERE to Follow us on Untappd and receive updates on special beers we’ll be putting on draught.

New Town Parklet construction began yesterday, the Town of SA’s fast reaction to the sentiment and desires of local residents after the County of Marin fenced-off the patio area next to Creekside. Boooo. On the upside, it will be a very nice new addition to downtown…and we’re affectionately calling it “The Boardwalk” here at Creekside. As noted, all of the tables and benches have moved into Creek Park, so there is still ample space for dining. CLICK HERE to read more about The Boardwalk, and thanks for supporting our local merchants and dining in San Anselmo.
